NEWS : GAP FREE FLEXIBILITY: LOCAL RIDER MAGAZINE

Published: 31/03/2008

In Local Rider Magazine's top tips for your first event, they recognised Airowear's body protectors as "leading the way with body protector comfort" and focused on 'Gap Free Flexibility'.

Breaking the concept that single-panelled body protectors are rigid, inflexible and uncomfortable to wear, Local Rider recognised that Airowear's styles incorporate the latest hi-tech materials to enable the sports rider to wear the softest shock-absorbing body protectors without compromising on protection or comfort.

All conforming to BETA 2000 Level 3 and the European standard EN13158, Airowear's body protectors have moved on from the generation when it was acceptable to ride in hard and inflexible protective sports gear.

Their styles are cleverly structured so they easily mould to the contours of the body and take no time to soften as they absorb heat from the body much quicker than traditional styles.

As well as providing total comfort for riders, Airowear also encourage sports riders to mix 'n' match their own colours by offering up to 17 different colours in the Zippa style, which when combined, can make hundreds of different XC colour combinations.

Watch out for the latest colours chosen by the Airowear Eventing Team of Ruth Edge, Julie Tew, Amy Young and Jamie Atkinson.

Airowear offer either tabards or zip-fronted styles of body protectors for men, children and women of all shapes and sizes.
