Airowear's sponsored rider Ruth Edge has triumphed by winning her first 4* Event at Luhmuhlen, in Germany.
Ruth Edge led an immaculate disply on her winning horse Two Thyme.
With one show jump down and a couple of time penalties, she was able to fend off the strong challenges from Georgie Davies and Jo May.
Two Thyme whose dressage prowess is a now a marker for several riders carried Ruth to by far her biggest win.
Ruth Edge from Cumbria said "I didn't realise until the post-ride interviews. I had watched the first two riders but then hid in the lorry until it was time for me. My ride was a wonderful experience, not just because Two Thyme answered every question but because the crowd here is so motivating. It will take a while to sink in. Luhmhulen was an end in itself and I haven't thought beyond it, or if it means listing for this year's European Championships at Pratoni.
